Introduction

A web browser is an application that allows you to browse you the internet through the www (World Wide Web).it is the most commonly required application in an operating system. It is practically not possible to browse the internet without the help of a web browser. In the early 90's, the first ever web browser was launched by the name of NCSA Mosaic(Willard 2009). It was created at the National centre for supercomputing applications.

Web browsers are developed by teams of people who try to abide by the rules that the W3C states that must be met for web pages look as they look. Obviously every team has a vision and every vision standards results in an implementation. Therefore, every development team gets a different implementation of the same normal(Underdahl & Lie 2000).

Other browsers with craving for more market share (FF, Web Kit / Safari, Opera, ..) implemented new functionality in the form of proposals to the W3C people think about whether they should be included within the rules that define that standard.

It is clear that each browser is a separate application that serves as a guide specification for these applications to be on the same rail(Tapper & Labriola 2008). Perhaps the rail is too wide and allows multiple applications to have different implementations, which we require developers to use hacks in outer layers to obtain a similar result in all browsers.
