In the United States, the percentage of drop out from schools is increasing day by day. There are many reasons due to which this percentage is increasing. A dropout is defined as a student who has failed to clear his/her high school course. It is important for the students to make sure that they focus on their studies and complete all the related courses so that he can earn a better future in his life. This is the reason that a dropout is neither appreciated nor is encouraged. There are many causes and impacts of the soaring percentage of dropout of high school which will be discussed in this paper.

Dropout is becoming a serious concern in the United States. This is the reason that the authorities should take care of the rising percentage so that more and more students are educated. This will help them in building their career and in developing a bright future for themselves. There are numerous reasons as to why the number of dropouts is increasing day by day. Students rely a lot on their family and their teachers for guidance and assistance. When they are unable to get either of them, they look for ways out and dropout is the one solution that they find. It is important for the parents and the teachers to make sure that they provide the right guidance and support to the students so that they can work in a manner that will help them in their academic life. In the United States only 58 percent of the students make it to graduation. The rate of crimes is also directly associated with the increased crimes i.e. the more the number of dropouts, the more the percentage of crimes in the country (www.all4ed.org).
