Introduction

Eco Fueling is a new start-up business that offers a sophisticated ethanol co-fueling technology, in order to come up with a tailpipe that can be used with all kinds of diesel engines. The company is working in cooperation with patents dealing with engine management control, optimization of engine performance and efficient fuel delivery. Brazil is currently the most lucrative market for renewable sources of energy. It has 6 million vehicles that need diesel ethanol, and it is a huge figure for the small number of companies that cater to this market. The government in Brazil wants to take this figure up to 11 million and the production is under way.

Market Analysis

The market has some established players that have a good reputation and brand recognition. Eco fueling is still in the initial phase and will have to compete with these entities, to make a name for itself and establish itself as a brand of choice. This of course will take time, but a well planned marketing programme implemented in the right direction with checks and balances at every stage of the development process is the ideal way forward for Eco fueling. Our main competitors include CNG, LNG, LPG and synthetics, such as Biodiesel and fermented sugar cane (renewable Diesel) and other various types of fuels including renewable and Electric (EV), hydrogen, and Hybrid.

Situation Analysis

During the financial crisis that hit the world, emerging markets suffered the worst hit. As a result of this, these developing countries shifted from importing energy to being self sufficient in their energy resources. Hence, ethanol and hydro became the two very popular sources if energy for such countries. At E+ co fueling, we want to capitalize on the opportunity. The situation is in line with our mission, as we provide renewable green solutions in order to control the emission of fossil fuels. Although diesel fuel is still the most used engine, alternative technology is gradually paving a way for itself into the market. This, coupled with the desire and need to create a greener environment around us, there will be new avenues for us to explore in the future.

Product Analysis

Imported fossil fuels are very expensive. For a striving economy, it is essential to find out ways to shift to economic renewable sources of energy. Brazil, one of the countries that we operate in, is an excellent example in this regard. Renewable sources of energy production significantly reduce cost for the country in sectors like transportation, agriculture (in terms of increase in food production), mining and power generation.
