Introduction

The election of year 2000 was between two parties namely Republican and Democratic. Democratic candidate George H. Bush won the election. He is a son of former President George H.W Bush (Douglas, 2001). His opponent was Al-Gore (republican Candidate).The Presidential election of Year 2000 was characterized by very intense competition, as Bush took 271 votes while Al-Gore took 266 votes. In 2004 election, again George H.Bush won the second consecutive Presidential election and defeated the republican candidate John Kerry.
