Essay on Globalization
Introduction
Globalization is extremely beneficial to every country; however, it has always been a heated debate regarding the third world, under developed countries. Some people argue that globalization comes with exploitation where wealthier countries take benefit of the poorer countries, building a large breach between them. But in reality, comparing developed and under developed countries or poor and rich countries is like comparing apples to oranges. People often mistake globalization's opportunities for corruption this is because they are not fully aware of the concept of globalization (Robertson, 1994). Global trade permits developing countries to pursue their progress by growing national earnings to sponsor modernization. Globalization is advantageous to all countries, whether they are rich or poor but only if that country is eager to be open to international trade in a strategic means based on how their country is operated in order to achieve profits from the trade. Hence if globalization is practiced by following the appropriate set of regulations, the country can show a progressive growth socially as well as economically (Steger, 2009).
