For this paper, we shall pave way for understanding and comprehending the violations of Koehler-Bright Star (KBS), a battery production country. Maintaining a strict protocol and compliance with the accounts of rules and regulations that have been posted for the purpose and objective of creating an effective, pollution-free and hazard-free for all plants and animals alike is a duty to be performed.

Traditional methods of treatment of CRD waste is a waste of resources. Most of these materials are not waste but a valuable resource. With the rising cost of building materials resulting from the depletion of our natural resources (especially wood), many of the materials we throw acquire more value. Almost all materials - concrete and wood, electrical and plumbing fixtures son - can be reused or recycled (EPA, 2011).

In order to reuse waste materials, everything that is recyclable is separated from other materials. Sorting CRD waste is necessary because there are markets for some materials which, when mixed or contaminated, have no recycling value and must be disposed of in a landfill. Therefore, the sorting of materials adds value and saves tipping fees at the landfill.

To conclude, one must understand the three basic principles - reduce, reuse, recycle -of effective and proper waste management. Reduce suggests that avoidance is the ideal result for any material waste; however, this may not be possible or practical in most cases. Source reduction is the next best alternative in regulating the generation of waste in the first place. Source reduction is defined as “the design, manufacture, purchase, or use of materials to reduce their quantity or toxicity before they reach the waste stream”, according to the U.K. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
