“At the same time we are aware that our various religions and ethical traditions often offer very different bases for what is helpful and what is unhelpful for men and women, what is right and what is wrong, what is good and what is evil”. Hans Kung

Introduction

Morality is linked to a historical tradition and often religious. It distinguishes between what is and what ought to be; by dogma, morality always refers to manners. It is better to speak of morals in the plural because they vary among societies, religions and of course the times. A product of moral waivers to the savagery of the drives, but sometimes she acts with a severity that causes havoc in excess of what they are fighting. Some innocent desires are thwarted and powerfully associated with moral straitjackets as guilt, anxiety, guilt, sin, taboo, fear. Differently, ethics is the reflection on morality; it is linked to a contemporary tradition, materialism which seeks to improve understanding of reality by a "reasonable" attitude in the pursuit of happiness for all (Anderson 2009 195).

The term "ethics" is used to describe theoretical reflections on the value of practices and conditions of these practices, ethics is also a critical thinking on the quality of actions. Ethics would have its roots in a decision called rational decision from an open dialogue between individuals aware of knowledge and cultures. The ideals are essential to create and structure a minimum of collective life and social life, are also an essential system of individual identity essential to everyone.

We can nevertheless discern a difference, depending on whether one focuses on what is considered good or right thing as compulsory. This is by convention that I will reserve the term "ethics" to the vision of a fulfilled life under the sign of estimated shares good, and that of "moral" for the mandatory side, marked by norms, obligations, Prohibited characterized by both a requirement of universality and a stress effect. We readily recognize the distinction between sight of the good life and obedience to the standards the opposition between two legacies: the legacy Aristotelian ethics which is characterized by its teleological perspective (from telos, meaning "end") and a Kantian legacy, where morality is defined by the character requirement of the standard, therefore a deontological (ethics meaning precisely "duty")

The man is confronted with the inexorable question of setting up your life. If you are being imposed on man, to live is his task and basic issue for him. In the words of Plato in The Republic "We must consider this issue further, since it is not trivial to solve something, but no less than about how it must live" (Beauchamp 2001 61).
