Background

If analysed the instigation of ethnicity and minority we come to know that it started soon after World War II. After the independence of India and Pakistan many immigrants from the south Asia started migrating. Simultaneously, huge amount of people from Africa, China, and other countries get immigrations.

Introduction

The ethnicity refers to the tradition, culture and characteristics of a person that belongs to a communal group. This term is also interlinks and overlapped with race/ racism - is the belief that a person from a community will possess common qualities, characteristics, and should be treated as treated to their other community member. Religion is also a common term that is the belief in supernatural being. There are different beliefs of different groups about the religion and their Gods, however some does not believe in it. Discussing about the people who are from different religions, ethnicity, race, and working under one roof creates diversity at work place. These are not the only aspect of diversity people from any minority groups or from different gender are also associated with the diversity. UK workforces have even suffered from skin colour racism that exist in the organisations and discussed under racism.

Managing Diversity in the Workplace and Cultural Diversity, in the workplace, has become crucial for the organisations. The companies in all industries are encouraging ethnic minorities, women, older workers and people with disabilities and foreign workers to join white men in the workplace. The most complex diversity is the ethnic diversity. The following analysis will focus on this group, and how companies are being encouraged to participate in the workplace in, constant expansion. Although the country law and other ethical values have provide protection against discrimination against minorities, but still it exist and it has become significant to identify these problems and eliminate it from the workplace. Managing ethnic diversity can lead to organisational success. The new cultural diversity has an impact both in terms of relations human and terms of management. Some difficulties reported as part of our work over the last decade. They are located mainly at two levels: either at the relationship with the person of another culture (client, colleague, subordinate, pattern ...) is in relationships with people who manage the work in this multicultural context. The appropriate strategy for the use of diversity is the inclusion, since it is inherent in social systems. That is why at the organisational level, it should include the diverse talents, as it will not only use their skills, knowledge or skills in the workplace, and it will make sure that, people feel adapted comfortable and able to give their best.
