Human is a social animal and needs to live in a society. The society is composed of relationships and these relationships play a vital role in attracting a human towards the glitters of life. These relationships and society makes the life beautiful and important in a manner that a person enjoys it (Beder, 2010).

Most of the People are on the view that , “I have the right to choose for my fate”. In order to give them relief for their own good pleasant death is preferred (Sanders, 2007) (Beder, 2010).

“Euthanasia comes from Greek, meaning "pleasant death". It typically refers to the killing of a person for their own (or another) good, usually to end their suffering” (Beder, 2010).

British Humanist Association defines Euthanasia as "a gentle and easy death", and now it is mean "the act of inducing an easy death". (Grayling, 2005) (Beder, 2010).

Euthanasia has become one of the most controversial issues worldwide. Euthanasia is characterized the intentional murdering by proceed or omission of a reliant human being for his or her supposed benefit. Voluntary euthanasia is when an individual acquiesces to his life being taken and involuntary euthanasia is when the individual to be slain is incapable of giving permission or does not give consent. Another pattern of Euthanasia is aided suicide in which the worried individual is supplied by the entails to take his or her life. If a medical practitioner presents this assist, it is called physician-assisted suicide. Voluntary euthanasia, sometimes called "assisted suicide", occurs when someone is suffering from unrecoverable disease to show his willingness to die in order to end suffering. When sufferer can not express his will or consent, the result is involuntary euthanasia. Its further definition is: “Non-voluntary euthanasia-where patients cannot express a wish to die (Grayling, 2005) (Beder, 2010).

The major argument presented by proponents of autonomy in euthanasia self determination and freedom to choose one's fate. People argue that, “I have the right to choose for my fate”. However, this idea is quite controversial when applied in cases of euthanasia. The Hippocratic Oath of the pre-Christian era suggested limits human freedom. It was suggested that doctors should not allow patients to commit suicide. Euthanasia is often used as synonymously with suicide, and in such cases, it is not preferred to provide autonomy. The rationale adduced by the Supreme Court to permit abortion has been seized by other jurists to justify euthanasia. In Washington, majority of citizens voted to forbid physician-assisted suicide, and a suit was then brought challenging the constitutionality of this statute.
