Introduction to the Issue

Muslims believe that Zionist are having plans for the demolition of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Many extremist Israelis want to destroy the Muslims' holy place “Al-Aqsa Mosque”. According to them, “demolishing the 'Al-Aqsa' mosque would be an extremely great blow to the Muslim enemy with no loss of life. It would also be an announcement to the Jews that they are no more court Jews and Zionism is a scheme that will be accomplished” (www.think-israel.org).

My Position

I suppose that there are many evidences that clearly show that Israel is having plans for the demolition of Al-Aqsa Mosque and they are somehow pursuing them.

Discussion

The Jews are allegedly making plans to split Al-Aqsa mosque just as Ibrahimi mosque, and then they want to bulldoze it and construct the professed “Temple of Solomon” at the same place. Hamas spokesman consider it as a severe step which illustrates the Zionist scheme of antagonism to the Al-Aqsa mosque. Israel said that it was closed due to public safety concerns in a move. It was immediately slammed by both Palestinians and Jordan. Jordan is the curator of the holy sites of Muslims in Jerusalem. The city council of Jerusalem said that the ramp causes a fire hazard and may fall onto the prayer sector of women. Muslims are anxious of its demolition that may weaken the compound of Al-Aqsa mosque. (The Daily Telegraph, 2011)

While access to it is controlled by Israeli police. Jewish extremist groups routinely demand the right to enter the site; some of them advocate razing the mosques and other ...
