Evidence- based policing is new approach of investigation that comprehend that the law enforcing agencies, command officers, officers, supervisor should not only be armed with the right equipment such as arms and ammunition, defensive protection, proper procedures, but also have as much knowledge about what strategies and tactics serve best to fight against crime. It is important to seize appropriate decisions while carrying out the investigation and patrolling against any crime. In the past, the basic training of the Police department was limited to law and its appropriate procedures, use of arms and ammunition and the physical skills required for defensive protection. The training of crime prevention and control was rarely given to the individual recruited in the police department (Bueermann, 2012).

The basic aim of evidence based policing is to analysis the everyday occurring crimes. This aim can only be accomplished when the role of policing is centralized in the society. The police investigation team can become more effective in understanding and analyzing the crimes that occur in our daily routine by estimating the possible situational and environmental factors as well as the geographic clusters that attract individual commit crimes. If the department of police investigate the committed crimes through evidence based policing, they can better address the crimes and its possible implications (Bueermann, 2012). It is important that the police departments make effective use of the knowledge that enable them improve their police efforts to control the crimes in the society, protect the community relation and improve their ability to reduce and prevent crimes.
