ABSTRACT

This study examined the role of exports and its impact on the economic growth of a given country. The main country that was selected in this topic for the analysis was Egypt and it was compared with other two major countries known as India and China. In order to acquire this result, the statistics of these three countries that included two variables known as exports and economic growth. The period ranged from 1982-2012 and the statistics were based on the three emerging countries in the world. It was revealed with the help of statistical analysis, that the exports certainly carry a significant impact on the economic growth of any country. This trend was visible for all the three countries and it was much stronger in Egypt as compare to India and China. The findings stated that further variables must be tested as well in order to compare the economic differences of the respective countries. Therefore, all the issues related to Exports led growth in developing countries have been discussed in detail.
