Football is responsible for more than 250,000 brain injuries in the United States (Samuels, 2010).

Topic Sentence for Point 4: The commissioner of NFL Roger Goodell has taken various steps to make sure that the game is played with good sportsmanship spirit and in safe environment.

Some studies have shown that up to 15% of people diagnosed with TBI are unable to remember what they have to do, have altered levels of alertness, loss of consciousness, or recurring and intense headache located on one side of the head and vascular disorders related to the brain (Guskiewicz, et al, 2003).
