Civil Engineering Assignment

Introduction

Most of the students like me start civil engineering with a general perspective that, Civil Engineering is a form of engineering science and a discipline that combines skills such as design, construction and maintenance of all buildings in their natural environment, in particular, such as bridges, roads, canals, dams, and most of all the buildings, though a whole new world is explored during the studies. Civil engineering is one of the oldest sciences of engineering after military engineering. In most cases, it is a tool for the realization of the vision of architects who are the first link in the construction process.

After learning few modules of civil engineering, I along with other students realized the broadness of this field. From the smallest of the objects like studies of screws, its different materials, the relation between metal and metallurgy, construction engineering and civil engineering are explored. Different tools to measure different parameters and different theories and strategies are explored. In this paper, in depth analysis of my current standing as a civil engineering student, my personality, my expectations, my personality and my future plans is made. The paper starts with the analysis of the civil engineering module, which is followed by my personality analysis using SWOT, my previous experience and my expectations.
