Frank Smith

Introduction

Frank Smith is probably the greatest undiscovered songwriter in America. Since 1974, Frank has written more than a thousand songs and poems from his secluded location in rural Georgia. His material spans many genres and styles, but all compositions reflect Franks high standards for lyrical content, catchy melodies and memorable refrains.

This talented songwriter leads a very private life, leaving home only occasionally to cash his goverment check, buy a few lottery tickets and replentish his supply of cigarrettes. Only two friends have ever visited Frank's home; the last occasion was several years ago.

Frank composes songs on his guitar and records in the privacy of his small travel trailer, while tending to chores on the family estate. His life is simple and uncomplicated, allowing him to concentrate on his craft of writing songs without distraction.

Frank has occassionally appeared on a talk radio program where his is affectionately known as "Sheakspeare" to the local listeners for his ability to instantly create songs and poems about topical issues live on the radio.

Frank Smith needs a publisher. He would like to meet a publisher or song plugger that can place his songs with popular recording artists. He may also be interested in working with a well established publisher as a staff writer from his home. He is open to suggestions and directions from those who need original songs written for any artist in any style.

Frank writes and records his songs in his small trailer out behind the big trailer. Pictured with Frank is Robert Burr, who produced his most recent recordings.
