Introduction

The novel, Frankenstein (1818) by Mary Shelley, is considered the first text genre science fiction. The story of Victor Frankenstein, a medical student obsessed with knowing “the secrets of heaven and earth” and unravels "the mysterious soul of man", brings to the fore the struggle between science and ethics. The story and the theme itself show that the story is intended to sketch a battle between nature and science.
