George Timothy Clooney was born in Lexington, Kentucky on 6th of May, 1961. He is a famous American actor, producer, film director and screenwriter. He is witnessed as a huge star in Hollywood not only for his appeal, but also for his strong presence and acting talent. His father, Nick Clooney, was a popular television presenter in Cincinnati. As a child, George often went to the studio to see him work and always wanted to appear before the cameras. His mother, Nina Bruce, is a former winner of Miss Kentucky contest. He has an elder sister, Adelia. His ancestors, from his father's side, were from Ireland. He was brought up as a stringent Roman Catholic. From a very young age, he used to hang around the sets where his father worked. He frequently participated in different shows, where he proved to be the favorite of the crowd. He has received one Academy award and two Golden Globe Awards for his work as an actor.

Educational Life

George Clooney started his preliminary education at the Blessed Sacrament School in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. He spent a fraction of his childhood in the city of Ohio where he attended two different schools. First was St. Michael's School in Columbus and the second one was St. Susanna School in Ohio. He developed a debilitating condition, known as Bell's palsy, while he was in middle school which partially paralyzed his face. The problem took almost a year to heal.

Eventually, his parents shifted to Augusta, Kentucky, where he attended Augusta High School. He has stated that he was not only an enthusiastic basketball and baseball player but he also earned all A's and a B in school.
