Introduction

In this paper, we are discussing the concept for developing a set of business recommendations that could be adopted by signatures to the Global Compact. These show how to improve compliance to the two identified principles. The company we are discussing here us Genting Group, which is a, leading Group in Malaysia dealing with various businesses. Genting Company is a multinational corporation, which focuses on enhancing shareholders value and focuses on maintaining a sustainable and long-term growth in business.Company Mission

In order, to uphold the principles we believe the following steps need to be taken

Enhancing Collective bargaining

The purpose of collective bargaining is the regulation of employment conditions in the broad sense and the relationship between the parties. Collective agreements should be binding. It should be possible to determine the conditions of employment, which are more, favorable than those established by law shall not give preference to individual contracts to collective agreements, except in cases where individual contracts are contained in more favorable conditions.Since, the voluntary nature of collective bargaining is a fundamental element of freedom of association it cannot be imposed, and to support the negotiation. The process should take into account its voluntary nature, and moreover, the level of negotiation should not be unilaterally imposed by law or authorities, and conduct negotiations should be possible at any level.

Collective bargaining is changing for over a decade, as evidenced by the steady decline of labor disputes and the growing interest of employers and unions for more cooperative approaches to negotiation.The success of collective bargaining implies that the employer and union negotiators understand current changes in labor relations and knowledge of approaches. These negotiation skills should be appropriate to different contexts in which they have to intervene. This program aims to raise awareness of different approaches to collective bargaining, to develop its capacity to analyze situations and issues of negotiation and improve his skills as a negotiator. Training is mainly devoted to simulations of collective bargaining overseen by the moderator.Forced Labor
