Introduction

Asia is a large continent in the world not only geographically, but cultural wise and on the basis of population. According to Ciecko, (2006, pp.5) there are different countries in this region like India, China, Japan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and many other countries. Each nation has its cultural backgrounds, rites and rituals and traditions which are followed by their citizens from many years. Culture is the way of living followed by a group of people over many years. Culture includes following of rituals, traditions, customs, practices, religion, norms and behaviours. The Asian countries have inter-linked geographies, political situations, cultures, civilizations and human nature. Many Europeans have the perspective that Asia is continent of multi linguistic cultures each country contributing its cultures to develop it as multicultural society. Europeans have always tried to understand the different cultures present in the Asian countries. They want to understand the cultural diversity of these nations in terms of the political system, language people speak, belief in different religions and practicing different cultures. Therefore Asia has different ends as each country has its own culture to promote. In United States of America, the Asian are seen as the people either from South Asia, Far East or from the Indian subcontinent meanwhile people in the legal language of the United Kingdom the Asians are people belonging from South Asia. After the 20th century Asia has been able to set up its cinema globally and has a huge fan following who appreciate the art work or films coming from these continents in the European markets. It has been able to develop co-productions among the European producers and the Asian producers. Asian film makers have been globally acclaimed and have been able to create their audience in Europe.
