I want to change my Smoking behavior, as I believe that it will put severe consequences in my life. Since, the time I was adolescent I was trapped into this bad habit, but after studding the psychological concepts, I had realized that more earlier I will quit this habit, the more better it will be for me and my family. One of the indisputable facts about snuff is that the active ingredient, nicotine is highly addictive. As reported a few years ago a senior executive of a major tobacco industry "has become one cigarette smoker never smoking non-nicotine snuff."

The changing of smoking habit will portray fruitful results on mu life and family.

The benefits associated with failure to snuff are important and immediate, regardless of sex or age of the individual stops smoking and whether or not it has developed pathology from consumption of snuff. Smoking termination is a process with different stages, people do not suddenly change their behavior, but staggered so and over time and the role of health professionals is essential to help and advice in this difficult commitment to the process of abandonment.

Many people have quit smoking several times (8-10) before the refuse from cigarettes forever. I believes that the whenever I give up smoking (even for a short time), I approach towards my goal. I remind myself that quitting smoking forever will help in avoiding serious problems and prolong my life. The most fundamental reasons behind the quitting smoking are protection of my heart health and live a long life.

I believe that the millions of people around the world have stopped smoking for decades, and some of them have achieved relatively easily. So this phenomenon gives me courage and strength that alteration in my smoking habits will derive positive results for me. The required things are the patience, courage and determination.

Motivation  

I thing the alterations in my smoking habits falls under the “Esteem Needs” category of Maslow's hierarchy of needs. The changing smoking behaviors will enhance my feeling of freedom. I observed personally that when patients were getting to leave the consumption of snuff and asked about what it was that made ??them feel better, many of them responded to me the feeling of being free of smoking, first delivered live tied to a cigarette, was the pleasant feeling for them.

Similarly, the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation on quitting smoking is proved to be the one of the best way for me to improve self-esteem. For example many of my friends who are ex-smokers feel satisfaction for every day spent without smoking and feels more masters of them every time they control the urge to smoke.

Furthermore, the ex-smokers are often an example for me, as the respect earned by attitude can be the first impetus for family and friends to focus on the same path.
