Introduction

This paper will be critically analyzing an article written by Griffiths. The title of the article is, “The world's Water challenge”. In this article the writer has basically pointed out the facts that are changing and creating problems between the countries. As it is obvious nowadays there is much problem of water around the world. Access to water is the main problem for those cities especially who are in their developing stage (Peterson & Ponser, 2010). Overall this article relates to the water system, about how it established in some areas of United States where there is no concept of water system.

Critical Discussion

Second part of this article relates to the advantages of having central parks, how they affect the environment, why they are necessary for the people, how they shift from rural to urban area (Progress in Drinking-water and Sanitation, 2008). Lastly it focuses more on the developments of parkways and roads, what technologies they used in transformation of areas to urban area. How the New York City converted its environment to colonial legacies, how it is influenced by the political and radical factors (Peterson & Ponser, 2010). The second part of this article relates to the Cadillac desert, in this author tells about the water politics , and how John Powell take steps to remove the obstacle for lack of water which was a serious problem at that time , how he take steps to make the Colorado river the most controlled , regulated & domesticated river in whole world.

Although at that time some people worked for this water infrastructure to be implanted by them in order to avoid unforeseen problems by making dams & water ways for their people, but looking closer to this picture in a recent research it was found that in Florida, epic drought creates an alarming stage for its residents that they will be deprive of or will face shortage of water supply in near future (Peterson & Ponser, 2010). This city does not have much water supply for its people as because of its growing population. Most of their Great lakes are now start shrinking .the Water reservoirs shows a record low storage of water, comparing it with the whole America this problem is now becoming a serious problem for its residents.
