Personal Statement

My desire to study law in university is firmly rooted in my interest in world events as well as to help others. The law affects our everyday lives, almost without noticing it. If we look at the news, there is always one aspect of the right to discuss. Ethical considerations are often brought to the forefront on such topics as cloning, abortion and major human rights violations. I find these debates fascinating as the complexity of the law continues to amaze me.
