The publication Home Front USA was about life in America throughout World War II. It is fundamentally a text publication that proceeds in large minutia about the home front in USA throughout the war. The reason of the publication was easily to teach people of what went on in America throughout the war. He actually focuses on the well liked feeling of the time and public principle of the time. The publication is divided up into four chapters. The first section agreements mostly with mobilization in America. It notifies about how enterprises answered to the war and how we paid for the war as well. The second section agreements with American humanity throughout the war. It notified how people answered to the war and what people were like throughout the war. The third section agreements with women and the distinct ethnic groups and how the war influenced them. The fourth section agreements with government throughout the war.

Winkler states that alteration to a war economy was not easy. The government required the assembly lines of the automobile commerce to construct containers and planed but the auto commerce was in no hurry. With the homeland retrieving from the economy people were buying vehicles afresh and the vehicle commerce was focusing on the buyers and not the war. However, when alteration eventually started there was no halting it. The vehicle commerce was construction plants all over. The developed scheme became more regimented then it had ever been (Winkler, 22).
