ABO blood types can be difficult to understand. This is mainly due to the fact that "O-type 'antigen is masked by the presence of A or B-type antigen. This is explained in the following chart showing the different genotypes, which constitute the blood types (Maton 2003). Two O bloods can give parents a child with O blood. Two parents a child's blood can lead or with blood or O types.
