Introduction

The media are crucial in preserving the ideological state apparatus, to understand how to have acquired such importance it is necessary to recapitulate the origins of industrialization in the media and the consequent mass culture, this being able to create links between individuals who will maintain the system stable. The media give rise to the exchange and flow of messages and ideas. This is used to create symbolic forms that are transmitted through the media. Symbolic forms are all those ideas and concepts produced by mass culture, which are represented through words and images. The emergence of the media to radically change the way in which symbolic forms were produced, transmitted and received by individuals. This process is called mediation of modern culture (Arthur 2001, 1).

Ideology was a system (possessing its own logic and rigor) of representation (images, myths, ideas or concepts as the case may be) existing and having a historical role within a given society. Ideology was, furthermore, a representation of the imaginary relation of individuals to the real conditions of existence of humans. Ideology operates, through interpellation, i.e. through the social practices and structures which hail individuals, so as to endow them with social identity constituting them as subjects who unthinkingly accept their role within the system of production relations. It is an objective feature of the social order which structures experience it.

The relationship between the assembly and ideology in contemporary American film has started since the 1990's continuing till date. The objective is to enhance the links between these two entities and to study the mechanisms that govern American cinema. It has undergone a great transformation in the 1990s, due to the new technologies. Almost everything becomes feasible, the installation in American cinema is growing and needed, even more than before, as the form that allows the story to evolve and sense of form. Ideology, meanwhile, designed as a system of representation of ideas, a comprehensive interpretation of the world is understood as a fundamental principle inherent in the American cinema, almost as well as assembly.

Today the importance of ideology is significant than ever, as today's modern society does not accept the use of power and force. Therefore, Ideological power is the most powerful tool today, to give a unity to nation. Media is playing an important tool of not only communicating value but also highlighting deviation from the nation's ideology. The reality of an ideology is another notable notion. Most of us belief in truthfulness of our beliefs, but most of the time reality is different from perceived reality. We use our culture to make meaning of or sense of our surroundings (Arthur 2001, 1).
