Introduction

The external and internal factors of the organization like ethics, diversity, innovation, technology and globalization can have a great impact on the organization's four functions. These four functions of the organization include planning, organizing, leading and controlling. The external and internal factors can be strongly influence the four functions of the organization as the organization has to have to make sure that they are properly addressed for the success of the business. Additionally, these internal and external factors assist the company in the identification of the risks in the business process and the environment.

The organization selected for the paper is the Postal Service of the United States. The reason for this selection is because of the utilization of the postal service of globalization, ethics, diversity, best innovation and advanced technology. All of this is merged into one excellent service that is used by many everyday even now. This paper will discuss the four functions of the organization and the impact of ethics, diversity, innovation, technology and globalization on the four functions of the management i.e. planning, organization, leading and controlling.
