Introduction

Today, people are often identified with various groups and these groups have something in common such as sports, religion, politics, physical traits, work and more. People have their own opinions and beliefs regarding these groups. These beliefs and opinion of the outside world have a high influence on personal and professional life of these groups, as well as has impacted them emotionally and psychologically.

Discussion

One of the major perception creators is media that played a vital role in creating false illusion about beauty diminish the confidence of young people concerning their looks. As, in my case physical traits that predominate my personality is being fat.

People around the world create standard for people in relation to a certain group. Standards may illustrate someone's bones and skins and these traits are predictors of beauty. People have both positive and negative inferences regarding fatness; however, they did not consider the negative physiological impacts because of high standard established by the outside world. As the outside world portray that beauty can only belongs to supermodels that are slim. On the other hand, it is very difficult for common people like me to look like touched-up supermodels. However, outside world always remind me that beauty only belongs to thin skinny models that are quite impossible for normal being to feel confident about their looks. Therefore, I lost my self-confidence at early life as I do not look like gorgeous models (Chandon & Wansink, 2007).

After I turned ten years old and went for shopping when I first realize that a group of people started taunting on my dressing and bulging from my body. At that time, I felt so embraced and pushed my abdomen towards my body as well as pinched my skin. Such outside world ...
