Samsung History

In 1938, Lee Byung-Chull, a Korean entrepreneur started and founded Samsung group. It was a chain of department stores in the various provinces of Korea. In Korean language Samsung name means "three stars". Those three stars represent the corporate values ??of size strength and quality. Today Samsung is for these three stars. After Second World War Samsung makes a significant contribution to the restructuring and reconstruction of the Korean economy when the group set up manufacturing facilities for sugar and textiles. In the 60s, Samsung increases its exports, established his own trading company, and building a factory for fertilizers and holds out the feelers to other industries of the future (Kelly, 2008).
