Strategy Development for Consturction Industry

The construction industry does not need to develop its own terminology for strategic management. There are already many relevant definitions that relate to strategic thinking, strategic planning and strategic management; additional definitions would only add confusion. The construction industry's view of the suitability of several existing definitions has been evaluated (Price et al. 1999). The results give strong support to Johnson and Scholes' (1999, p. 10) definition of strategy as presented below.
