The Interview

At the beginning of the interview, I greeted the respondent in a friendly manner, made myself acquainted, and thank him for taking time to facilitate the interview. I then briefed the respondent on the purpose of the study, explaining how the study will be done and where the data reported, and, finally, assure the respondent of anonymity and confidentiality.

Throughout, I tried to establish good rapport with the interviewee to gain his confidence and trust. However, it is highly dependent on the interviewer's social skills. Besides the personal and biographical data, there are other indicators that provide information about the reactor. The body communicated itself at different levels, which was under less conscious control, so I provided valuable information in formulating the therapeutic process which was observed.

On the contrary, the possible state increased its importance in terms of social functions, and in terms of staying in the space of ultimate meaning. However, the idea of self-sufficiency in old age, circulating mainly in academic circles, virtually integrating into the public consciousness is seen according to the interview held.

At the same time, the respondent was not detached and neutral, and refrained from offering any personal opinions. Meanwhile, the level of vocabulary used that was easily understood by the reactor and it was taken care about using certain gestures and words because they might be considered offensive in some cultures and ethnic groups.
