Introduction

Interview is a professional conversation among two or more people in which one person (interviewer) asks questions from another person or people (interviewee or interviewees') to draw out statements or facts.

This essay is based on an interview of significant person named Thomas Duke, who is a senior sales manager in a leading multinational company. I have personally formed an interactive interview session on the basis of a fake job advertisement that was published in newspaper. My uncle, who is working in a leading company as a human resource manager told me how to plan an interview session. He assisted me in preparing for the questions that I will be going to ask during an interview.

Discussion

The interview started with a question, tell me about yourself? Mr. Duke started his conversation in this way that he was born in Canton, Ohio and got education from Lincoln High School. From the beginning he was fond of getting information related to computers. It was his passion and a way of getting latest knowledge. Similar to other kids he also liked to play computer games but the thing that he never forgot was management of time. He gave time according to its requirement and priority. When he got his personal computer as a prize from his father he mastered himself in Windows, DOS and WordPerfect in a very short time this shows that interest gives us push to learn things fast. After that he went on to learn more computer related programming skills both basics and advance. By the time he graduated high school, he started developing an interest in the field of programming, from that point he was found himself pushing in getting success in that field. His life revolved around computing and learning interpersonal skills. He did bi-majors in bachelors in software and sales. After that he had an internship last summer at Fast Track Software in which he was involved in both customer related activities and software programming activities as well. He is now willing to work for a major player so he can be at the forefront of breaking trends and new technology.

I had a detailed answer from Mr. Duke. Then I asked him about where he wants to see himself five years from now? Mr. Duke stated that in five years he hopes to be working for an employer in an ever more responsible position that allows him to make use of his talents and work intimately with his classmates in resolving significant issuess. He see himself taking on exciting and new challenges in a pleasant environment hoping it with the company for which he is currenly having an interview.

I was quite impressed from his answer then I asked him that what kinds of decisions makes him annoyed? He stated that he sometimes have difficulty choosing between two similarly good ideas. Another difficulty that he use to have in beginning was this that he was having a difficulty in saying 'no' to people but ...
