Introduction

The main purpose of this paper is to make an analysis on the technology of IPAD and discuss that whether IPAD is a destructive technology. The technologies are changing with times, many computers are replacing with the others. This era is the era of technology. Thus, this paper discusses the importance of information technology in the organisations and its success in the organisations. Now days, businesses are adopting the tools of information technologies and systems in order to achieve the corporate objectives, and operational excellence.

Discussion

The textbook defines an information system as a set of interrelated components that work together to collect, process, store, and disseminate information to support decision making, coordination, control, analysis, and visualization in an organization.

Business Process and Purpose of Information System

Information systems are the foundation for conducting business today. In many industries, survival and even existence without extensive use of IT is inconceivable, and IT plays a critical role in increasing productivity. Although information technology has become more of a commodity, when coupled with complementary changes in organization and management, it can provide the foundation for new products, services, and ways of conducting business that provide firms with a strategic advantage.

Management of information is necessary taking management decisions. Although the management of information (the process of collecting and storing information) and management information (information needed to make informed decisions) are different, mutually reinforcing and cannot be separated into daily operations.

Determine the information needed

During planning, management, and supervision of the project, it generates a lot of information. Some of them are necessary to make immediate management decisions, partly to subsequent management decisions (Keller, 2008, 77).

Obtain and analyze information

 Information may be obtained from technical reports, record books, and forms of different performers, community meetings, interviews, observation, and community maps (Zackman, 2007, 33).

Register information

 It is important to keep the information for future reference. The information can be stored in local record books, progress reports, forms, or even head. The most important principle of registration of information is the ease with which they can recover (Wiseman, 2008, 75).

Use of information

Information can be used to solve community problems, identify resources (amount and nature), request support, and plan future projects (Ward, 2002, 40).

Information flow disclosure

 The appropriate information should be used for sharing it with other stakeholders or users. This information may help in management decisions and can also help in finding the related information (Hayek, 2007, 45).
