KFC functions in 74 countries and territories all through world. It was founded in Corbin, Kentucky by Colonel Harland D. Sanders. In 1964, Colonel decided to sell business to two Louisville businessmen. In 1966 they took KFC public and company was listed on New York Stock Exchange. In 1971, Heublein, Inc. acquired KFC, shortly after; confrontations erupted between Colonel (which was employed as the public relatives and generosity ambassador) and Heublein management over value control matters and bistro cleanliness.
