Laboratories Problems

Introduction

Many organizations have faced many problems whether management or technical issues. Laboratory is the most vital system which involves the humanity life. Furthermore, any tiny mistakes will lead to massive negative results in both outcomes or in systems it selves. This assay will discuss two types of problems that one involves in management process which will focus in shortage of staff and the other will involve technical operation which is Hyperkalaemia.

Background

Before start talking about management and technical problems, knowing some definitions of key words in this assay is necessary. Effects have causes. The variation of reasons may be usual or human made; dynamic or reflexive and close or open. Directly causes lead directly to effects however intermediate causes and other types of causes have been undergoes of direct causes. In some cases, many causes and effects is followed from an known result, managers have to back to the source of starting point of problem and root cause are found and this process known as core cause analysis.

The general aim of endeavoring to explore the central reason is to unravel a difficulty that has in reality occurred, or to avert a less severe difficulty from rising to an intolerable height. By addressing root causes in the solving problems is more effective way than addressing the direct causes.

Next key words is that root cause analysis (RCA) is a method or event used to answer the difficulty aimed to identifying the root causes of problems. The implication of root causes analysis is predicated on the attempting to correct or eliminate root causes and solved the origin of problem, as opposed to merely addressing the immediately obvious symptoms. By directing corrective measures at root causes and correct the origin causes, it is hoped that the likelihood of problem happen again will be decreased. RCA rely on many basic elements, such as materials, machines, environment, management and methods.

The next word is defined as the modification of a corrective action for a management system to determine focus on a weakness. There are many factors why the corrective action, such as in the system to implement a customer complaints, internal does not meet the normal level, the internal audit or in the product and process monitoring to determine the trend of instability failure. In addition, corrective and preventive measures are the concepts of good manufacturing practice (GMP) compliance.

One way to capture these different views, inspire the team brainstorming fishbone cause and effect diagram is often called the root. Fishbone will help to visually display the many specific problems or potential causes of. It is in the team, in particular, and the circumstances in which a small amount of useful data for analysis.

Management problem (Staff shortage):

The continuous shortage of laboratorians is not a sudden phenomenon. Rather, it has been ongoing for some years. It has been clearly seen that many laboratories are empty from physicians and technicians. Laboratory professionals are attentive that the lab is not excused from the current problems, eliminating most other ...
