Introduction

To know good English, it is essential to know grammar properly. There are many aspects that come under grammar from which the most important one are the parts of speech. Therefore, it is essential to know about all the eight parts of speech when learning English. Similarly, there are also many things such as syllables and tenses that are covered in grammar. The best way to learn English is by using examples. This is because examples play a major role in making us understand the aspects of grammar. For instance, nouns are names of people, places or things such as Tom, America and pen. They are often represented by the pronouns such as crowded place. However, verbs refer to the actions that take place such as walking. However, an individual can walk slowly or swiftly or clumsily.

The evaluation process is different depending on the age of your child and I will divide this post into three sections: speech/language evaluations from birth to 3 (early intervention), speech/language evaluations for preschoolers (3-5) and the school age child.

Therefore, adverbs describe the verbs i.e. walking slowly, where slowly is the adverb. These are the four main parts of speech that are people are mostly aware of. However, besides these there are four more parts of speech that people should know well. Therefore, it can be said that English is not just about forming sentences but during this, one has to ensure that the grammar we are using is correct and tenses are used properly. Three most common tenses are past tense, present tense and future tense.
