Introduction

The part of the study is related to the leadership theory which is being discussed in relation to the attributes of effective children's nursing leaders. Leadership is considered as one of the vital element for having effective and efficient nursing practices which affect patient, their recovery rates, relative satisfaction and rates of infection etc. For that reason, nurse leader should understand the reforms and implications of health system as it is associated with their leadership. Moreover, leadership in nursing is also imperative and essential for having clear vision as it guides the nurses to plan effectively, to think strategically and also to contribute on the policy development; furthermore, managing change, effectively working in partnerships, teams and alliances.

Besides it, leadership in children's nursing is also an important attribute to have as serves as a guide in health management of children. The nurse leaders should be able to enhance the value of nursing. Effectiveness and efficiency should be followed regarding the leadership in children's nursing which is a major aim or objective of what nurse leaders are trying to fulfill.

Moreover, in comparison of the leaders, it is identified that the leadership styles with children's nursing home quality indications may find out whether n association exists between nurse leaders and children's nursing. Nursing education leaders who are prepared to take on these challenges get advantage from the knowledge of the practices which are able to help them in having successful transformational leadership for children's nursing.

For the patients, their recovery rates, relative satisfaction and rates of infection, the nursing professional associations can guide in presenting opportunities and identifying them to members of children's nursing. Children nurses should accept the responsibility for their own education and get the ability to manage and plan strategically which will guide in efficient leadership in children's nursing.

Leadership

Leadership is defined as the process of directing the influence of work activities members of a group. This definition has four important implications that include the following:

First, the leadership involves other people, nurses or followers. Members of the group, given their willingness to accept leader, it helps in defining the leader's position and allow the expiry of the leadership process, otherwise who would command as the leadership qualities of the manager would be irrelevant (Zomorodi & Lynn, 2010, 14-28).

Second, the leadership will enter into an unequal distribution of power between leaders and group members. Group members are not without of power can shape and indeed they do, the activities of the group different ways; however as a rule, the leader will have more power.

The third aspect of leadership is the ability to use different forms of power to influence the behavior of the followers of different ways. However, some leaders have influenced the employees that are nurses to diminish the personal benefit and some leaders have influenced employees that are nurses to make personal sacrifices to give benefit to the nursing profession (Courtney, 2004, ...
