Introduction

Learning is the process through which we acquire or modify abilities, skills, knowledge, behaviors and values as a result of the study, the experience, the instruction, reasoning and observation. This process can be analyzed from different perspectives, so there are different theories of learning. Learning is one of the most important mental functions in humans, animals and artificial systems. Human learning is related to education and personal development. It must be properly oriented and is favored when the individual is motivated. Learning as development of new temporal relationships between environmental being and has been the subject of several empirical studies in both animals and humans. Measuring progress in a while we obtain the learning curves that show the importance of repetition of some physiological predispositions, of "trial and error," periods of rest after which accelerate progress, and so on. They also show the last relationship of learning with conditioned reflexes (Olson, Hergenhahn, 2009).

Learning

We define learning as a process of relatively permanent change in the behavior of a person created by experience. First, learning is a behavioral change or a change in behavioral capacity. Second, the change must be maintained over time. Third, another key criterion, is that learning occurs through practice or other forms of experience (e.g., watching others) (Olson, Hergenhahn, 2009).

We must point out that the term "conduct" is used in the broad sense, reductionist avoiding any identification of it. Therefore, when referring to learning as behavior change process, we assume that learning involves the acquisition and modification of knowledge, strategies, skills, attitudes and beliefs (Olson, Hergenhahn, 2009).

Role of Behavior in Learning

Learning is, according to most experts; change in behavior with some permanence. From this point of view, almost all the ideological baggage, cultural, social, values or needs, are acquired. The media, in the impact of a society whose basis is the information homogenize all human beings. It is through this state of affairs from which we must discover the individual aspects of the human person and make decisions about their learning needs. Innate, in practice, is no longer a substrate; worth bearing in mind, but it has little or no affect, on the personality of the adult learner. Learning is defined as the behavioral change that occurs with certain permanence in the individuals of the human species. For that reason, the training activities must have a sense of rest, stability and reflection that allows things to stay in long-term memory, avoiding anything that takes speed, rote learning and all thoughtless actions (Olson, Hergenhahn, 2009).

Thus, it can be said that behavior and learning has a close connection between them. When a person experiences something, or gains knowledge or skills about something, his behavior changes and does not remain the same. This change in behavior is due to the learning that has been done in this process (Olson, Hergenhahn, 2009).
