This lesson plan is for intermediate students aged 17-19 years for social studies. The various written exercises will help the students to become substantially better in understanding society. The lesson plan includes the generic aspects of the course, which also provides details description of literacy or social, moral, and spiritual development of the course. It initiates with the planning of the project, which is an important aspect of the plan to ensure about the curriculum. The activity part discusses the practical implication of the plan that need to be discussed in the plan. A lesson plan is based on several developmental processes such as the balance between teacher and learner activity. It also covers the needs of the learning material for individuals as well for the groups. The provision of a sufficient variety of activities includes in the lesson plan to ensure learner engagement towards the course.

The best teaching method for this course will be through interaction and active participation. The students will learn most through their interaction with the teacher and other students. Secondly, the interaction between peers will act as an enzyme in the reaction of learning social studies. This course is for those students, who need to score high in Social studies. The distinct taste is to help other students improve their performance in Social studies classes. It aims the acquisition of knowledge and skills necessary to play effectively as tutor with your peers enrolled in the School. This Social studies language centre of teach supports each and every person who wants to learn. This training has three components: a theoretical aspect, most of which is given intensively at the beginning of the semester. A supervision component is in the form of group meetings, verbal, written feedback from your supervisor (Gordon 2005,p. 11). It covers the semester, and a practical or individualized instruction. It is a crucial task for most of the enrolled students.

Guided Activity or Strategy

Students will follow along with the teacher as the classroom expectations / syllabus are discussed in class. The students should sign the sheet that they understand the class expectations and take home for a parent / guardian to sign. Upon returning the signed sheet the teacher should make a copy for his / her files and give the original back to the students. Upon completion of the discussion, students will be given a Holiday Quiz. The teacher should give 5 - 7 minutes to complete. At the end of that time, the teacher will give the answers to the quiz. Students should each receive class participation points. (The teacher can take this quiz up and give the same quiz at the end of the year. At that time, allow students to compare their progress from the beginning and end of the year.)
