Lifespan Essay and Journal

Over the past few months, I tried myself to improve in the area of health and stress management. In an attempt to achieve this goal I was guided by the theories of psychologist Albert Bandura. Beyond a pure behavioral approach, Bandura believes that learning through a number of factors includes the relationship between input and output of stimulus response and reinforcement in changing behavior (Shaw, 2010). Bandura postulated that an important part of learning occurs through forming patterns that have nothing to do with the behavioral emphasis (Bandura, 2006). Bandura's theory in the belief that one can have an effect on some aspects of environmental guidelines is a challenge to try and how it will develop new skills.

Following Bandura's ideas about social learning and theory of self-efficacy, the concept of self-efficacy refers to belief in one's ability to successfully participate in specific behavior (Betz, 2004).

My goals and developmental theory of Bandura

To achieve my health and stress management, I designed a program that adheres to Bandura's social safety learning theory. Bandura believes that we learn a lot through imitation, and imitation involves cognitive process. Bandura turned more attention to how our efforts are influenced by our faith in our abilities (Crain, 2010).

I tried to incorporate the activities of mold in my plan to a more complex level, by participating in programs of health and fitness and stress management that another person had taken part in the success they have shown on their part. Then I worked with respect to their past in molding a conscious toward my goal. Another social element of learning theory Bandura, joined in my quest to achieve my health, and stress management goal was self-regulation. In these respects, Bandura suggests that there are three main steps:

Self-observation, we look at ourselves, our behavior, and keeps tabs on her,

Judgment, we compare what we see with a standard.

Self-response, if you did well compared to their level, will give rewarding. Self responses, if you did it wrong, you give yourself self-punishment responses. (Bandura, 2006).

Self-observation

The primary means by which I achieved this was through my journal entries monthly charted my progress and consider the success that had been during the month. I had no intention of taking action; however, I change myself bleeding in the next three months. I was more aware of my health problem of weight gain that causes stress. While I understand that my health was adequate in many respects. I borrow books form the library, show watched health program on television, I recognize that there are a number of health and nutrition that most of the direction for optimal health, fitness and manage my stress. In Bandura's view, “don not learn out of a spontaneous interest, but to achieve our internal goal and standers” (Crain, 2010).

Judgment

I used accepted standards for health, stress relaxation and fitness organizations, and I measured in terms of height and age against these ...
