Marriages during Jane Austen's Time

With reference to the type of marriages that regulate during the time of Jane Austen themes of class and class consciousness is seen in "Pride and Prejudice, strictly based on the daily life of the middle and upper class men and women in this time in England. In his novel "Pride and Prejudice Jane Austen describes the class consciousness, attended mainly by the relationship between Darcy and Elizabeth, as they made when they met for the first time, by the time Elizabeth was Pemberley. Jane Austen lived in a world of mercenaries, and this is in the novel. In "Pride and Prejudice" is no secret about the need to marry for money. Jane Austen reflects the different types of marriage in her novel. It is a marriage of convenience, which, for purely economic reasons. This would be a marriage between Mr. Collins and Elizabeth.
