The London Development Agency says it is ahead of schedule in relocating 207 Stratford firms and their 4,800 staff to new homes across east and north London. Around 50 firms remain on site. about 450 residents are being forced from the Clays Lane estate to allow a velodrome to be built. More than 80 per cent of the 3,600 flats required for the athletes' village will be "rented" from the new 180-acre Stratford City development, which overlaps with the Olympic Park. about 150 travellers are being moved from two established sites but problems have emerged finding them new homes.

In case of London Olympics 2012, Use of inventive techniques help achieve arranged schedule compression without creating undesirable risks and excellence impacts. Project management is always based on a basic philosophy learned mostly from experience, and the components of such philosophy have universal validity for all projects. It is up to the organization as to how it applies them intelligently to the project. The project management plays vital role at this stage that has the ability and skills to apply the essential aspects of these components. The paper is an attempt to highlight the importance of the different parts of the Project Management Plan (project costing and risk management) for London Olympics 2012 and to explain as to how these can be used effectively in the automation projects.
