Introduction

The First Vice leader of the Republic of Sudan, leader of the Government of Southern Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, has advised the US government to work with the international community especially the Troika and the UN to intervene if the confrontation arises during and after the referendum in January 2011.

It is with large delight that I take this opening to voice my attitude AND-only an attitude in consider to the so-call representation of the Lost Boys & Girls in both Washington, DC, USA and in Juba, South Sudan. At the latest visit of H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit, the First Vice President of the Republic of Sudan & the President of the Government of Southern Sudan in Washington DC, where some speakers from with very well aim were privileged to get a possibility to inquire H.E. President Kiir to address conceiving two places in Washington DC and Juba where two Lost Boys/Girls be installed.

 We were notified that the demand was conceded and the ball was in the Lost Boys/Girl's court to arrive up with straightforward, equitable and ordered modality to choose these to persons who would proceed and assist their homeland at dwelling and in the foreign land. Well, last evening, a phone seminar gathering was called, dragging simultaneously almost two hundreds participants if not more from the Sudanese Diaspora communities. If you were there last evening throughout the gathering, you understand how it went....

 I'm not here in any way likely to admonish any individual who have organised or the last evening moderators of the gathering but the way it was coordinated was not wholeheartedly the best way such a significant topic should have been handled. I sensed very sorry if it was done at a face-to-face meeting.

 Believe me, when I state I'm not here undermining the effort of those who labored so much to get those two places for us, but rather throwing a inquiry and furthermore marvelling why manage we habitually inquire for representation other than inquiring for larger engagement of the Diaspora in our Government? Did H.E. Mr. President Salva Kiir Mayardit did what the publication of Matthew section 7, ver. 7 alluded to that “ask and it will be granted to you; demand and you will find;...”?

 Mr. President was inquired for two places and he gladly provided them to us!  And why manage we habitually inquire for representation as if we are not part of that nation? Are we not a part and parcel of the force that conveyed about the thriving deduction of Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA)? Did we not assist throughout the liberation labour in some way? Is the phrase representation a befitting phrase to be utilised, particularly when contemplating countless assistance we all have made to the Sudan? I'm certain numerous persons manage share my feeling of that this is a right time for us to be advised as treasured ...
