Love Versus Obsession

Obsession can be for a person or thing or action. This is a psychological condition that in its extreme form, requires medical care. People affected by obsessive desire the object of his obsession with great passion, violence and even madness. When an object is a person possession of the opposite sex, there is a tendency to confuse obsession with love. However, there is a fundamental difference between love and obsession. (Kay, 65)

Love is directed and focused on the needs of a loved one. Obsession, by contrast, is selfish. Obsessed with always focused on his (or her) own desires and the object of obsession random. Love heals beloved as a man, and in extreme cases, the fans treat love and beloved as divine. For the obsessive focus of his attention is no object of desire, or life depends on a strong desire that is obsessed with the object. He (or she) is almost like a child who is crazy about toys and play with his (or her) to bed in the garden, and even the toilet. But if one day the hurt child toy, there is a direct denial. The child is now looking for a new toy while the old is thrown mercilessly into the trash.

Love is often associated with selfless philanthropy. On the other hand, obsession, associated with being in control. In normal relationships, there will be no expectations from their partner. But, in the case of obsessive relationships, may not be feeling return. If your partner gives you gifts for obsessive relationship, it may be due to being under control.
