Abstract

History has given birth to number of remarkable figures who because of their tremendous efforts will remain an example for the upcoming generations. 16th century marks the start of African Americans struggle history and during the time period of 1650-1991, number of civil right activists has been emerged. This research paper has a basic focus on one of the greatest African American leader Malcolm X and shows his relevancy to the world history by portraying a momentary overview of the African Americans struggle. In addition to it, a brief account of the other African American leaders has been presented to give a reflection that struggle for the rights and prominence of the African American community has its roots from the past and every leader in his or her own manner has made contributions to this freedom movement.

Introduction

The world history is marked with number of important figures who played their role in such a manner that they will remain alive till the end of world. History has given birth to number of remarkable personalities who worked for the betterment of humanity in their own capacity. One such remarkable personality who will remain alive in the history of African Americans is of Malcolm X, also known as El-Hajj Malik El- Shabazz. The theme of this research paper is “Malcolm X relevant to world history in the time period of 1650-1991”. The research paper will analyze the history of the African American movements by focusing on the famous personalities of the specified time frame and will establish its relation with the courageous personality of Malcolm X.

Discussion

Malcolm X was born in the year 1925 with the title of Malcolm Little. He was an African American Muslim minister and activist of human rights. His admirers consider him a courageous advocate for the rights of African Americans. Malcolm charged white Americans with the harsh terms for their crimes against the Black Americans. Critics accused him as one who preaches and promotes racism, black supremacy and violence, but all such criticism did not put any effect on his marvelous efforts.

African Americans who were formerly known as American Negroes are the United States residents who had their ancestral affiliation with the native populations of Sub Saharan Africa.
