Introduction

Multicultural teams are considered to be more efficient tool as compared to the teams which lack diversification. Today's world is evolving very swiftly thus the competition between the firms tends to rise as a result. In such a scenario any organization cannot afford to limit itself to a certain pool of individuals. Every organization in today's world tends to attract the most capable employees so that the organization ca n achieves its objective of profit maximization. Today's world has evolved into a global village thus the organizations are keen to attract the employees irrespective of their geographic or demographic background. Since diversity in the organization tends to deliver innumerable advantages to the organization which will be discussed in the course of this paper.

Diversity in the context of this paper is interpreted as the organizations which tend to inculcate the workforce of varying cultures. In the context of the modern world the borders have become non-existent and the companies or organizations are looking to expand the operation into the different regions (Patricia & Sandra, p.127). Multicultural organizations tend to link itself to ideas of varying nature. Multicultural teams in the context of the modern world do not serve as an advantage to the organization but it also allows the customer of the varying culture to relate to the organization. This ultimately results in the profit maximization of the organization upon which very organization tends to stand on.

In such a scenario the organization cannot afford to limit itself to attract or to serve individuals with certain backgrounds. The organizations of today are in fact tends to focus upon the idea of evolving multi-cultural teams. Therefore, this paper tends to shed light on the idea of multicultural teams from different perspectives in order to develop a forceful understanding of the subject.

Economic Advantages

Multi Cultural teams tend to bring in a lot of advantages with them however; this section of the paper addresses the economic advantages related to the workforce diversity (Schweiger, Atamer & Calori, p. 138). As pointed earlier in the context of this paper that workforce diversity is interpreted as the team which tends to have people with different cultures. Inculcating a workforce of varying cultures allows the organization to widen its horizon of the markets it tends to cater to. The foremost, advantage of having a workforce from different cultural backgrounds allows the organization to reduce or weaken the barrier which tends to restrict them within a cretin border. Since the people from different cultures are able to interpret their cultures much more effectively thus allows them to reflect it on the sales and marketing plans of the organization.

It allows the organization to stretch itself beyond conventional customers.
