1- Market Assessment.

Marketing has many definitions which are focused upon customer orientation and satisfaction of customer needs. The marketing concept is the idea that firms should analyze the needs of their customers and then make decisions to satisfy those needs, better than the competition. The marketing concept relies upon marketing research to define market segments, their size, and their needs. To satisfy those needs, the marketing team of the company must make decisions about the controllable factors of the marketing mix. Product placement will be the endorsement of a product or brand by a celebrity. If the company can get that celebrity to use and endorse their product, it will create a buzz and everyone will want it.Cross-promoting is when two companies combine together and offer a promotion. People are another important process in marketing. Any person coming in contact with customers can have an impact on the overall satisfaction. People are particularly important because from a customer point of view, they are part of the total service. People must be appropriately trained in the areas of product knowledge and service, be motivated to sell the product, and be the right kind of person to move that product or service. Take a Chevrolet or GM car salesperson for instance, some car salespersons are not only knowledgeable about their product, but also outgoing and interested in what the customer's and wants are and try to accommodate the customer's wants and needs while attempting to sell the car. That type of customer will more than likely be a successful car salesperson. On the other hand, the Chevrolet or GM salesman that is also knowledgeable, but not as out going and friendly may have a more difficult time in selling the car to the customer because his behavior does not allow him to connect to the customer.

2- Research. What specific research should be conducted to better understand the UA consumers? Use combinations of researches

Companies give these products out to retailers who use their product. This not only pleases the retailers, but is advertisement for the company as well. There are many examples I could provide for this.The idea of marketing is very broad. There are many things to think about when successfully introducing a product into the market. Most important is the marketing mix made up of the four Ps, which are the controllable variables in a marketing strategy. Marketing is defined as the set of activities by which the demand structure for goods, ideas, and services is managed in order to facilitate the exchange process satisfactorily. Basically, this means that marketing activities are designed and undertaken to make people's lives more comfortable and enjoyable, to help people attain those products and service. This definition consists of five components which are demand, exchange, goods, services and idea. Marketing definition suggests that it is necessary not only increase demand, but also to manage it. (David et. al, 2005)
