Introduction

The word Samsung is the Korean word which means “Tri-Star” and three stars. It is the world largest multinational company and, its cooperation headquarters is situated in Samsung Town, Seoul, South Korea. It generated normal revenue of US$173.4 billion in 2008. The scope of the essay is to discuss the marketing communication of Samsung because, it is a known brand found in internet easily and, I have to introduce a new product.

Samsung Electronics Company was founded in 1969 in Suwon, South Korea and, basic purpose of that company was to manufacture electronics devices like TVs, calculators, refrigerators, air conditioners and washers. Samsung was also awarded for its excellence in Industrial Design Excellence Awards for five times which made Samsung a first Asian company to win rewards. The rivals for Samsung were from America and Europe. Samsung was first experiencing trouble in associating any new design and, taking opinions from people in order to improve their designs and, it showed that Samsung's market strategy was to satisfy customer's requirements.

After 1995, it had noticed that many new ideas and concepts were taken externally by Samsung (http://www.marketingweek.co.uk/brands/samsung/).

The product which I have chosen for Samsung is Galaxy S IV. This product will be more advance than Galaxy S advance and Galaxy S III. The main features of this product will be enhanced than, Apple iphone5 .Apple has failed to make new iPhone remarkably thin, but Samsung has to create Galaxy S IV remarkably thin without compromising features and, performances.

Discussion

If there is no existence of that technology Samsung has to create it. Iphone5 is also remarkably thin but, concept is to beat iPhone5. Iphone5 is 7.6 millimeters thin, and Galaxy S IV should be 7 millimeters thin or less than 7 millimeters in order to make remarkable reputation in the market. Apple Engineers had successfully introduced different layers of touch electrodes between display pixels which perform duties like action as a touch and, sensation of electrodes at the same time. Samsung has to introduce Galaxy S IV with the nearly same features which will perform same actions at a time. As iphone5 is 29 MP then, Galaxy S IV should be more than 29MP in order to bring reputation of the product.

Marketing Strategy

There are many regional departments of Samsung which includes Samsung Electronics Co., Samsung Electro Mechanics Co., Samsung Corning Co., and, it is reported that Samsung Semiconductor Company and Telecommunications Company are grouped together under Samsung Electronics Co., in the year of 1980.

There is always an aim behind any successful company and, aim of Samsung is to introduce new technologies time to time in order to meet the customer's requirement, enhance individual's lives and making Samsung to the top of market. There are total 111 subsidiaries of Samsung which include sales, production, distribution, research laboratories and eight businesses in different countries such as America, Europe, China, South East Asia, South West Asia, Central and South America, Middle East and Africa.
