In “Maus: A Survivor's Tale, a history of his father's experiences during the Holocaust”, Art Spiegelman offers a portrait of his father in USA, a picture of his father's tortured route from Sosnowiec, Poland, to the Nazi death camp at Auschwitz and at last to the United States, and a description of his own complicated relationship with the old man.
