No, the media cannot have a liberal bias. This is by definition. Wherever the middle of a people is, media can only follow. Media is the plural word for medium. Medium is the stuff between as in high, medium, low. It is what gets between people and helps us communicate. An artist needs a medium; the paint, the clay, the sound. There are even people who claim to get between the living and the dead. They are media, namesake of that detective show.
