When a dangerous virus decimates an African town, the US administration tries to draw a line under the occurrence and take the line that a reoccurrence is unlikely. However, a monkey has become a carrier for the virus and has come to the US. When Jumbo Scott smuggles the monkey out to deal to a favorite shop, he is contaminated and disperses it to others. Eventually the localized village of Cedar Creek becomes overrun and the US types a blockade round the town. With the political leaders designing the decimation of the village to halt the virus dispersing, Col Sam Daniels and his group rush to find some other way of halting it.

Whether you examined in back in 1995 or now, where the risk of viral strike doesn't appear so improbable, this movie should be grabbing on the cornerstone of the material. At points it does have good instants but usually this usually bears from seeking to manage too much and having a script that will not command its subject. For most of the movie the virus is nearly a notion other than a genuine risk and it converses many without actually delivering. Even when a whole village is quarantined and staining, it all continues very serene where actually it required worry and fright to seep into every feature and every scene. Sadly it doesn't manage this and the movie bogs itself down in individual diseases, squabbling ex-partners and so on - did we require the major individual characteristics to get the virus? Wasn't it sufficient for a whole village to be staining and for the world to be at risk? Anyway, at the midpoint the movie abruptly becomes an activity video with helicopter follows and a contrive that can best be summed up as 'catch the monkey'.
